Mind Over Chatter

Spring-Fall 2020: Mark joined the other members of the Mind Over Chatter team, along with Mike Caulfield, for several American Democracy Project webinars: the "Digital Literacy in the Time of Pandemic" series and "Digital Literacy Workshop," sponsored by the American Association for State Colleges and Universities. Mind Over Chatter, funded by a generous grant from the Rita Allen Foundation and RTI International, is a college curriculum designed to help college students overcome inherent cognitive biases, such as confirmation bias, and engage in mindful media consumption. The entire curriculum is available free online via Canvas Commons and Indiana University's Expand site.
