February 2022: In a series of four lectures sponsored by the Indiana University Alumni Association, Mark discussed the Lewis and Clark expedition, from the plans and preparations involving Thomas Jefferson to the triumphant (and harrowing) journey itself to the extraordinary legacy of maps, scientific specimens, and more. During this series, Mark drew on his research on the expedition, as well as his personal travels on the Lewis and Clark Trail, to share stories, details, and lots of pictures.
